Do you ever feel lost? Do you ever feel stress, anxiety, or struggle to sleep? I know that I did. After years of feeling loss, experiencing stress, anxiety and struggling at times to sleep I wanted to make a difference. I wanted to help others feel relaxed happy and learn how to sleep.

I am a writer, life coach, and meditation teacher. I make guided meditations, meditations, and resources to help with sleep, reduce stress, aid study and promote well-being. I hold an Honours degree in Anthropology and a Masters in Counselling from Monash University, Australia, and have worked as a personal trainer, life coach, speaker, and Guided meditation teacher for many years. I present a podcast called ‘Being Well with Lauren’ and I have a virtual wellness centre where you can download meditations and resources for happiness, guided meditation, stress reduction, and well-being. In my book Daily Rituals for Happiness, I candidly share my personal experience of loss, childhood bullying, relationship challenges, and the many ups and downs of being a single mum. I try to offer hope, support and practical advice to readers. I love what I do and feel like you as my viewer or listener are my friend.

Episode 64 Sometimes the day to day gets in the way and thats ok.


Sometimes the day to day gets in the way and thats ok. Today I talk about life getting in the way. I talk about setting New Year's Eve resolutions, goals journaling, happiness, the media, The amazing Hillman show podcast and radio, Danielle Murr one of the talented hosts of the Hillman Show. I also talk about how we can focus or train our minds and look at the bigger picture in order to feel happy and have a sense of purpose. I talk about the problems of distracting ourselves with social media and the trivial issues of life. I also look at how to stop the slippery slope of resentment. I explore and laugh with you about juggling parenting and life. And yes I talk about my label as the ‘The whispering mother” in the media and my ASMR autonomous sensory meridian response and my meditation you tube videos. I talk about how anger breeds the bush fire for more anger. Anger almost always is borne of anger. I talk about training and re directing your mind for achievement and happiness. I talk about the esteemed Killingsworth the happiness researcher ( One of my personal favorites )

And ah yes I talk about the book. I mention that I will read from it soon and talk about when it will be ready. Enjoy
