Do you ever feel lost? Do you ever feel stress, anxiety, or struggle to sleep? I know that I did. After years of feeling loss, experiencing stress, anxiety and struggling at times to sleep I wanted to make a difference. I wanted to help others feel relaxed happy and learn how to sleep.

I am a writer, life coach, and meditation teacher. I make guided meditations, meditations, and resources to help with sleep, reduce stress, aid study and promote well-being. I hold an Honours degree in Anthropology and a Masters in Counselling from Monash University, Australia, and have worked as a personal trainer, life coach, speaker, and Guided meditation teacher for many years. I present a podcast called ‘Being Well with Lauren’ and I have a virtual wellness centre where you can download meditations and resources for happiness, guided meditation, stress reduction, and well-being. In my book Daily Rituals for Happiness, I candidly share my personal experience of loss, childhood bullying, relationship challenges, and the many ups and downs of being a single mum. I try to offer hope, support and practical advice to readers. I love what I do and feel like you as my viewer or listener are my friend.

Day two MindBody Cleanse -  The path of forgiveness

Episode 158 Being well with Lauren


Stop being loyal to your  suffering  and let it go Day 2 Forgiveness ( of 14 day MindBody cleanse)


Well how did you go with day One? What did you learn? Don't forget that this is about giving up your teddy of past patterns and reforming new ones...and that is no easy process but you can do this. Today we examine forgiveness.


Why have I chosen to explore forgiveness so early in the Mind body course? Because all change, all healing, all cleansing starts with empathy compassion and forgiveness. This is not about trotting out a ‘that's ok’ towards past memories and people this is about soul searching, meditation and self-inquiring in order that you physically and mindfully forgive everything which has occurred in the past- kind of like cleaning out a fridge...all the food with an expiry date is gone thrown out finished. You can do this. So roll up your sleeves and let's get forgiving.


What is forgiveness?

Surrendering to letting go of every negative feeling and allowing love for the other person and love for yourself flood in. Feelings of understanding, tolerance and exoneration are paramount here. When you forgive you take the box marked I still reflect on this past hurt with resentment and hurt out of your backpack- i give up all hurt and all resentment. To give that is a big feeling isn't? - to totally give up..but what happens when we give up something? When we forgive a hurt we feel lighter because our load is lighter...if we want to get to the top of the mountain we need to lighten our load.
